Silicone Rubber
Silicon Rubber are elastic silicone polymers, one-component or two-component, may contain fillers to improve the properties or reduce the cost.
In the vulcanized state, they have increased frost and heat resistance (from minus 60 to 200-300 ° C), high resistance to oxygen, ozone, light and other atmospheric factors, high dielectric performance and good elasticity, stability of properties at high humidity, hydrophobicity , chemical, physiological and biological inertness, excellent vibration-absorbing properties, resistance to corrosion. Due to these properties and its ease of manufacturing and shaping, silicone rubber can be found in a wide variety of products, including: voltage line insulators, automotive applications; cooking, baking, and food storage products; apparel such as undergarments, sportswear, and footwear; electronics; medical devices and implants; and in home repair and hardware with products such as silicone sealants.
