Hydrophobic Silicone Fluids are used to improve the moisture resistance of asbestos cement and gypsum boards, ceramic materials; for the preparation of antiadhesive lubricants for glass-forming surfaces; to impart hydrophobic (water-repellent) properties to various tissues, paper, skin.   Coverage after treatment with such a liquid:

• does not interfere with the normal air exchange of the structure, does not change the appearance of the material, contributes to a reduction in the contamination of the texture layer and increases its service life;

• prevents the reduction of the thermal insulation properties of the material, shows good resistance while being confronted with various factors, including alternating freezing and thawing resistant to the influence of ultraviolet and infrared rays, alternating moistening and drying;

• imparts hydrophobic properties, improves flowability and prevents caking of powdered and granular materials.
